One lucky Kansas Lottery player is feeling fabulous today after claiming a $500,000 top prize win on the $50 Fabulous Fortune scratch ticket. The winner is a Geary county resident, and they elected to remain anonymous.
“I still can’t believe something like this could happen to me,” the winner said with a laugh. “You just never expect the lucky person to be yourself!”
The player said the first thing they know they are buying is a new vehicle. After that, there are no real plans currently. “We are still processing the win,” they added. “I will just put this into a savings and investment account and figure it out from there.”
The winning ticket was sold at U-Stop 40 at 740 West 6th street in Junction City. There are still two $500,000 top prizes, six $25,000 prizes, and thousands more in other winnings in the $50 Fabulous Fortune scratch game.
