Beginning at 12:01 AM CT on February 5, 2024, Kansas Lottery PlayOn loyalty program members can redeem 1,619 PlayOn points for an entry into the Island Getaway promotion. Two winners and their guests will enjoy a trip for two (2) to the beautiful Island of Hawaii.

Entries shall not be accepted which are submitted by any method other than through PlayOn.

ENTRY DEADLINE:

Players must redeem 1,619 points for an entry into the drawing no later than 11:59 PM CT May 5, 2024.

WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT:

Two (2) winners will be announced at approximately noon CT May 9, 2024.

ISLAND GETAWAY PRIZE PACKAGE INCLUDES:

• Roundtrip economy class airfare for two (2) passengers from Kansas City, MO, Manhattan, KS, Wichita, KS, or Denver, CO to Kona International Airport.
• 5 days 4 nights five-star accommodations at the Fairmont Orchid Resort and Spa. Includes breakfast daily, porterage, all taxes, and gratuities.
• $585 resort credit for dinners, drinks, golf and spa treatments, luau, beach, or other resort-based activities.
• Roundtrip airport transfers.
• $400 cash.
• Mandatory state and federal income withholding taxes will be paid by the Kansas Lottery.
• Each prize is valued at approximately $15,188.38.

Additional Rules and Information:

  1. The prize does not include insurance, parking fees, baggage fees, alcoholic beverages (other than those served without charge at any reception and/or dinner), any items not expressly specified and personal expenses such as telephone calls, valet service, room service, laundry, incidentals and the like, all of which shall be the obligation of the prize winner.
  2. If a prize winner fails to make the scheduled flight departure time, there will be an attempt by the Contractor to rebook their flight at the cost of the winner. Any prize element, or portion thereof, that is not used due to the delay in travel will be forfeited.
  3. If the prize winner fails to show at the designated time and place for any of the event activities that are a portion of the prize will be forfeited.
  4. Prize winner must be at least 18 years of age and is solely responsible for the actions of guest(s) accompanying the winner on the trip.
  5. The Prize winner or guest(s) must have a valid credit card to be recorded with the hotel for all incidentals at the resort.

GENERAL RULES:

  • Must be a Kansas Lottery PlayOn member to participate. It is FREE to join!
  • These prize packages are subject to all Official Rules and restrictions for this drawing, all rules and regulations of the Kansas Lottery, state and federal law.
  • Entering the drawing constitutes authorization to identify publicly the name of the person whose entry is drawn.
  • The Kansas Lottery pays state and federal mandatory income withholding taxes for the Island Getaway winner in the amounts of $759.42 state and $3,645.21 federal.
  • An email will be sent to the winner’s email address listed in their PlayOn profile with an electronic claim form attached, followed by the same documentation sent by U.S. mail. Winners must return their completed claim form, electronically, by U.S. mail, or hand-delivered to the Kansas Lottery claims center within 10 days from the date of the winner announcement or the next eligible entry shall be declared the winner.
  • Prizes are not exchangeable for cash.
  • Winner(s) must travel within 18 months of the winner’s announcement. Winners will be required to book all trip prize related travel (hotel, air, excursions, etc.) a minimum of 60 days prior to preferred departure date. All bookings are based on availability at the time of booking.
  • Players may enter the drawing as often as they wish but may only win one prize in this drawing.
  • Need not be present to win.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to enter, win, or claim a prize.
  • Kansas Lottery is not responsible for electronic malfunction or player error.
  • Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
  • Kansas Lottery retains the right to substitute an alternate prize of approximate equal value.
