It was a crazy day at the office for Erika Timmons of Olathe. They were slammed all morning, so over her lunch break Timmons decided to grab a pair of $20 Cash Blast scratch tickets to play and unwind. There was no time to unwind, though, after Timmons revealed winning spot after winning spot for a $10,000 prize!

“I got back to the office with lunch and my tickets,” Timmons said. “I started eating, then reached over and started scratching off the first ticket. I thought it was just a $500 win at first but that already had me excited!”

Timmons began to scratch more intently, as spot after spot on the ticket revealed winning numbers or instant win symbols. When the scratch dust all settled and the winning spots were counted, they realized just how much Timmons had won.

“I scanned it with the PlayOn app and when the ticket said to sign and take to Topeka, that’s when I knew it was real” Timmons added. “I sent a picture to my husband and he checked it as well and got the same thing. We couldn’t believe it!”

Timmons said the win comes at a good time, as the recent winter storm had been hard on their heater. “It just went out, so fortunately this should cover those repairs. And if there is anything left, I could really use a new purse and wallet!” Timmons added with a laugh.

The winning ticket was sold at BP Gas 8698 College Blvd in Overland Park. There are still two $150,000 top prizes, five $10,000 prizes, and thousands in other cash prizes as well remaining in the $20 Cash Blast scratch game.
