$965 Million Mega Millions Jackpot Up For Grabs Tonight
Mega Millions has continued to roll through the fall, now reaching its 40th consecutive drawing and currently sitting on the edge of a billion-dollar jackpot! Tonight’s jackpot is for an estimated $965 million, the 8th highest Mega Millions jackpot of all time.
If a player wins Friday's jackpot, they will have the choice between an annuitized prize estimated at $965 million or a lump sum payment estimated at $445.3 million. Both prize options are before taxes. If the winner selects the annuity option, they will receive one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5 percent each year.
The November 11 drawing had over 800,000 winning tickets sold nationally, featuring two $3 million dollar wins in Iowa and New York, and a $5 million winning ticket in Arizona. Kansas also had a big winner of $10,000! The winning numbers in the November 11 Mega Millions drawing were 10 – 13 – 40 – 42 – 46 Mega Ball 1.
Mega Millions tickets start at $5 per play, which now includes a randomly assigned multiplier to every play. The multiplier possibilities are 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, and 10X. Players select five numbers from 1 to 70 and one Mega Ball number from 1 to 24. There are nine prize tiers, and no breakeven prizes as every ticket includes at least a 2X multiplier. Players need to get their tickets before 8:59 p.m. on draw days to be eligible to win.
Players are invited to submit all their winning and non-winning tickets in the Kansas Lottery PlayOn® Players Loyalty program to earn points for drawing entries and a chance to win cash and other prizes! PlayOn® is a registered trademark of Pollard Banknote Limited used under license.
