Almost $1.5 Billion in Combined Jackpots Up for Grabs This Week

For the first time since Christmas of 2024, the Mega Millions jackpot has climbed up to an estimated $900 million for Tuesday night’s drawing, marking the 8th largest jackpot in the game’s history. Mega Millions has been rolling since July 1, when the jackpot was last hit in Virginia for $348 million.

The week kicks off tonight with a $490 Million Powerball jackpot drawing, as well as a $6,630,000 Lotto America drawing. Super Kansas Cash also draws tonight, with a jackpot of $120,000.

Powerball and Mega Millions tickets are now available to purchase in the Kansas Lottery app and on the website. The app can be found in both the Apple and Google stores. Draw game tickets must be purchased before 8:59 p.m. on draw days to be eligible to win in that night’s drawing.

Mega Millions tickets start at $5 per play, which now includes a randomly assigned multiplier to every play. The multiplier possibilities are 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, and 10X. Players select five numbers from 1 to 70 and one Mega Ball number from 1 to 24. There are nine prize tiers, and no breakeven prizes as every ticket includes at least a 2X multiplier.

If a player wins Tuesday’s jackpot, they will have the choice between an annuitized prize estimated at $900 million or a lump sum payment estimated at $415 million. Both prize options are before taxes. If the winner selects the annuity option, they will receive one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5 percent each year.

Players are also encouraged to take part in the annual Holiday Millionaire Raffle, which started on September 1. Only 150,000 tickets were available at launch, and as of this morning less than 51,000 remain! The next $30,000 Early Bird drawing is on Sunday, November 16, so make sure to get your tickets now to be eligible to win in all remaining drawings.

Players are invited to submit all their winning and non-winning tickets in the Kansas Lottery PlayOn® Players Loyalty program to earn points for drawing entries and a chance to win cash and other prizes!  PlayOn® is a registered trademark of Pollard Banknote Limited used under license.
