Olathe Player's $10,000 "Prediction" Comes True
When Isaiah Wilson buys an
instant ticket from the Kansas Lottery, he always says the same
thing right before he scratches it.
"I say, 'This time I'm going to
win $10,000,'" the 25-year-old Olathe resident disclosed to Lottery
Apparently there's something to
be said for the power of positive thinking. This week Wilson did
exactly what he said - he won $10,000! The lucky ticket that
gave Wilson his win was a $2 Electric 7's.
The 25-year-old Olathe man said
he had just gotten off working 48 hours in four days, and went to a

well." The two went on to Wilson's friend's house, where Wilson
finally played his tickets.
"I got a free ticket on the
first one; the second one was a non-winner; and then I scratched
the third one. On the very last line, there was a '7,' and right
beside it was a $10,000 prize."
After getting over the initial
shock, Wilson and his friend jumped up and down and danced around
the room. Said Wilson, "It was a special moment."
Wilson was still excited when he
claimed the $10,000 ticket at Lottery headquarters late Tuesday
"I am really stoked!" he
