While a Kansan didn’t take home the record Powerball jackpot from last night’s drawing, two Kansas Lottery players did win big! Tickets sold in Northeast Kansas and Northwest Kansas matched four numbers and the Powerball to win $50,000, but the Northwest player added on the Power Play multiplier for just an extra $1, which doubled the prize to $100,000! The winning numbers on October 4 were 12 – 22 – 54 – 66 – 69 Powerball 15 and PowerPlay 2X.
The wins come right after two Kansans also matched four numbers and the Powerball in Saturday night’s drawing, bringing the total of $50,000 Powerball prizes sold in Kansas within the last month to seven.
