Newton Resident Wins a "Triple Payout" worth $25,000
A 20-year-old Newton resident
received a big payout after playing the Kansas Lottery's $5 Triple
Payout instant scratch game. Tyler Hutson purchased two of
the $5 tickets and won a $25,000 top prize on one!
"I bought the tickets late
Monday night and didn't scratch them until late the next morning,"
said Hutson. "When I realized how much I had won, I thought
my dad had played a trick on me. He's pranked me with two

"I can't believe I won this
much," said Hutson. "I only buy tickets a couple of times a

"I was laid off from my job in
June," said Hutson. "Now I can afford to pay off a few bills
and buy a newer car. I can't wait to get home so I can call
my friends and tell them what I've won. The only people who
knew before I came to Topeka were my parents. I wanted
