Wichita Woman Receives $25,000 Answer to Question, "Did I
Robin Talbott now knows the answer to the question, "Did I Win?"
And the answer is "Yes!" The 53-year-old Wichita woman is the
winner of a $25,000 top prize in the Kansas Lottery's $5 " Did I
Win?" instant scratch game.
Talbott and husband Steve, who's a designer at Spirit
AeroSystems in Wichita, claimed her ticket Wednesday at Lottery
"This is an amazing feeling," Talbott shared. "You always dream
of winning a big prize like this, but you don't really expect
The lucky winner purchased her ticket and scratched it at home
"I found a "YES" symbol and right below it, it said $25,000, so
I was pretty sure I'd won - it was right there in plain
Just to make sure, Talbott called the Lottery office the next
day and had her prize confirmed.
Talbott told Lottery officials she might take her husband on a
cruise, or possibly a trip to Hawaii, with the prize money. She
also plans to give some money to her church and buy her
grandchildren a few gifts. After 34 years of marriage,

Talbott purchased her lucky "Did I Win?" ticket at Kwik Shop
754, located at 4811 S. Seneca Street in Wichita. There are two
$25,000 top prizes remaining in the "Did I Win?" game, plus tens of
thousands of other cash prizes.
