The Stars Align for Spring Hill Resident - Winning $75,000 Top Prize!

After having a bad day last Friday, Neahmiah Wilson decided to purchase a $10 Classic Black instant scratch ticket to cheer herself up. The "stars" aligned for her that evening, bringing her good luck. The Spring Hill resident, who revealed a Star symbol on her Classic Black ticket, won a $75,000 top prize playing the game!

"Last Friday was a terrible day," said Wilson. "I ended up falling not once, but twice that day because of the rain. The second time I fell, I ended up covered in mud. After cleaning up, I stopped at a convenience store and decided on a whim to buy a $10 scratch ticket. I never buy $10 games either. I usually stick to the $2 Bonus Crossword tickets."

Her bad day quickly turned into an unforgettable day when she revealed a $75,000 top prize.

"I couldn't believe what I was seeing," said Wilson. "I immediately signed the back of my ticket and went back to the store to have it checked. When I handed the clerk my ticket, I told her I thought I had won $75,000. Before she scanned the ticket, I asked her to be discreet and not make it a big deal if I had won. After scanning the ticket, she looked over at me, shaking her head 'yes' and smiling."

In a state of shock, Wilson went to her parent's house to show them the winning ticket.

"I decided to keep my ticket at their house, so I knew it would be safe and sound," said Wilson. "I didn't tell anyone else, but by Sunday I think the entire town knew how much I had won."

Wilson, who has three children, plans to start a college fund for each child with a portion of her winnings. She also plans to purchase a newer car, pay bills and save the rest for another rainy day.

The winning ticket was purchased at Casey's General Store 1194, located at 607 N. Webster in Spring Hill.
