Topeka Man Starts Labor Day Weekend Winning $25,000 Top
Topeka resident Matthew Phelps had a great start to his Labor
Day Weekend. The 31-year-old purchased a Kansas Lottery $5 White

scratched his way to winning a $25,000 top prize!
"I stopped at the BP store across the street from where I work
to pass the time before my shift started," said Phelps. "I

he shared his good news with his co-workers.
"Everyone really razzed me about winning," said Phelps.

where my kids and dogs couldn't find it. This has been a good
year. I've won two $1,000 cash prizes playing two other Kansas
