Wichita Player Wins Holiday Dough
Although his girlfriend Christian O'Dell usually prefers
Crossword tickets, Don Thompson decided the season was right for
her to try the $2 instant scratch game Holiday Dough.
"He bought me 10 Holiday Dough tickets Thursday night and I
scratched them off after work Friday," O'Dell told Lottery
officials. "At first I wasn't winning much 'dough' holiday or

scratched off a $10,000 cash prize! Boy, was I thrilled!"
Even though she could barely contain her excitement, O'Dell
decided to be a little coy when she told Thompson what she'd won on
the tickets he bought her.
"I told him we won a $2 prize, a $2 prize, a free ticket and
$10,000. I never changed my voice," she said.
"What? You won $10,000! You're kidding me," was Thompson's
O'Dell, who is employed by Regent Park Assisted Living, said she
will use her prize money for repairs on her car and put the rest
The lucky Holiday Dough ticket that brought O'Dell some real
holiday dough was purchased at QuikTrip 366R located at 1620 S.
Webb Road in Wichita.
