Tecumseh Man's Sunday Morning Routine Leads to $10,000
Brian Krug of Tecumseh has a Sunday morning routine - he gets up
early and stops by Lakeview Amoco in Topeka to purchase a newspaper
and a few Kansas Lottery instant scratch tickets. Yesterday,
his routine paid off after he won a $10,000 cash prize playing a $20 100X

"I started out buying four of the $5 scratch tickets," explained
Krug. "I ended up winning $25, so I kept $5 and decided to
buy two $10 scratch tickets. I won $30 on those tickets, so I kept
$10 and bought a $20 100X The Cash ticket. As I was sitting
in my car scratching the ticket, I noticed I had revealed a 50X
symbol and I knew right away I must have won something big, so I
went home to finish playing the game. When I got home I
started freaking out after I realized I had won $10,000. I ended up
waking up my brother, who was visiting from Texas, because I was so

Lakeview Amoco, located at 3000 SE Croco Rd. in Topeka, where
Krug purchased his $10,000 winning ticket also sold a $100,000 top
prize on a $10 Happy Holidays Super Ticket just last week.
That large prize was claimed by Richard Passow of Topeka.
There are two $100,000 top prizes remaining in the $20 100X The
Cash game as well as thousands of other cash prizes.
