Oklahoma Resident Claims $250,000 Mega Millions Prize!

An Oklahoma resident, who wished to remain anonymous, has claimed a $250,000 cash prize in the November 16 Mega Millions drawing!  The winner was literally one number away from winning the $26 million jackpot for Friday night's drawing.  The winning numbers were 05-24-26-29-53 Mega Ball 36.  The winner's winning numbers were 05-24-26-29-53 Mega Ball 37.

"I've been working in Kansas for a few months and play Kansas Lottery tickets every evening when I get off work," said the winner.  "I checked my ticket Saturday and was shocked when I realized I had won $250,000."

After calling his mom and girlfriend with the good news, the winner called his boss and asked for a day off today to claim his prize.

"I definitely didn't mind making the trip to Topeka to claim my prize," said the winner.  "Now I can pay off a few bills and have a nice Christmas."

The winning ticket was purchased at Mini Stop, located at 7200 S. Broadway in Haysville.
