Powerball Jackpot on the Rise as Jackpot Climbs to $400 Million!

The Powerball jackpot is on the rise after no one matched all numbers in the September 14 drawing.  The estimated Powerball jackpot for Wednesday night's drawing is $400 million with a cash option of $223.6 million!

The Powerball jackpot has been on a roll since August 7, when a Minnesota resident and two New Jersey residents shared a $448.4 million jackpot.  The record Powerball jackpot was $587.5 million, which was split between winners in Arizona and Missouri on November 28, 2012.

Powerball isn't the only game offering a large jackpot this week.  The Mega Millions jackpot rolled to an estimated $130 million with a cash option of $88.2 million for Tuesday night's drawing.

The Hot Lotto jackpot rolled to an estimated $1.6 million after Saturday night's drawing.  Although no one hit the jackpot, one lucky ticket purchased in northeast Kansas matched four numbers plus the Hot Ball to win a cash prize worth $3,000!

No one matched all numbers in Saturday night's Super Kansas Cash drawing.  The estimated jackpot for tonight's drawing is $1,005,000!  Three lucky tickets matched four numbers but not the Cash ball in Saturday night's drawing to each win $2,000.  All three tickets were sold in northeast Kansas.

The northeast region of Kansas includes the following counties:  Marshall, Nemaha, Brown, Doniphan, Riley, Pottawatomie, Jackson, Atchison, Geary, Wabaunsee, Shawnee, Jefferson, Leavenworth, Wyandotte, Johnson, Osage, Douglas, Franklin, Miami, Morris, and the northern half of Lyon.
