Powerball Jackpot on the Rise as Jackpot Climbs to $400
The Powerball jackpot is on the
rise after no one matched all numbers in the September 14
drawing. The estimated Powerball jackpot for Wednesday
night's drawing is $400 million with a cash option of $223.6
The Powerball jackpot has been
on a roll since August 7, when a Minnesota resident and two New
Jersey residents shared a $448.4 million jackpot. The record
Powerball jackpot was $587.5 million, which was split between
winners in Arizona and Missouri on November 28, 2012.
Powerball isn't the only game
offering a large jackpot this week. The Mega Millions jackpot
rolled to an estimated $130 million with a cash option of $88.2
million for Tuesday night's drawing.
The Hot Lotto jackpot rolled to
an estimated $1.6 million after Saturday night's drawing.
Although no one hit the jackpot, one lucky ticket purchased in
northeast Kansas matched four numbers plus the Hot Ball to win a
cash prize worth $3,000!
No one matched all numbers in
Saturday night's Super Kansas Cash drawing. The estimated
jackpot for tonight's drawing is $1,005,000! Three lucky
tickets matched four numbers but not the Cash ball in Saturday
night's drawing to each win $2,000. All three tickets were
sold in northeast Kansas.
The northeast region of Kansas
includes the following counties: Marshall, Nemaha, Brown,
Doniphan, Riley, Pottawatomie, Jackson, Atchison, Geary, Wabaunsee,
Shawnee, Jefferson, Leavenworth, Wyandotte, Johnson, Osage,
Douglas, Franklin, Miami, Morris, and the northern half of
