Powerball Jackpot Increases to $360 Million for Wednesday's Drawing

Player excitement is heating up as the Powerball jackpot continues to climb.  The jackpot has been increased to an estimated $360 million, with a cash option of $229.2 million for tomorrow night's drawing!

Since the new Powerball game went on sale January 15, 2013, players have responded well to bigger jackpots, more $1 million and $2 million prizes, and better chances to win any prize.  Powerball jackpots start at $40 million and continue to climb until the jackpot is won.  Players have until 8:59 p.m. on draw nights to purchase tickets.  Drawings are held at 9:59 p.m. every Wednesday and Saturday.

While large jackpots generate excitement, the Kansas Lottery reminds players to play responsibly and not spend beyond their means.  Players must be 18 years of age or older to purchase lottery tickets.
