Kansas Lottery Player Wins $1,000 a Day for Life!

Kansas Lottery players - look carefully at your Lucky for Life tickets from last night's drawing!  One lucky player has won a prize that will pay them $1,000 a Day for the rest of their life!

A single ticket, sold in northeast Kansas, matched all numbers in the June 25 Lucky for Life drawing.  The winning numbers are 3-31-42-45-48 Lucky Ball 17. The holder of the ticket wins the Grand Prize of $1,000 a Day for Life, or the winner can choose to get a one-time cash payment of $5.75 million.

This is the first $1,000 a Day for Life grand prize a Kansas Lottery player has won since Kansas joined the Lucky for Life game in November 2016. Two Kansas players have won the second prize of $25,000 a Year for Life.

The northeast region where the lucky ticket was sold includes these 21 counties: Marshall, Nemaha, Brown, Doniphan, Riley, Pottawatomie, Jackson, Atchison, Geary, Wabaunsee, Shawnee, Jefferson, Leavenworth, Wyandotte, Johnson, Osage, Douglas,  Franklin, Miami, Morris, Lyon (northern half).

There are 26 lotteries that offer the Lucky for Life game to their players. Lucky for Life drawings are conducted every Monday and Thursday evening in Hartford, Connecticut.

Only a dozen $1,000 a Day Grand Prizes have been won in all 26 lotteries since the game's inception.
