The Wait is Almost Over - Holiday Millionaire Raffle begins Oct. 1!

'Tis the season for a Kansas Lottery player to win $1 million!  Beginning October 1, 2012, the Kansas Lottery is once again giving its players a chance to win a $1 million grand prize, plus other cash prizes in its fourth Holiday Millionaire Raffle game.  As with last year, the Kansas Lottery is offering Early Bird drawings, giving players who purchase tickets early a chance to win $10,000 in each drawing. Only 150,000 tickets will be sold at $20 each.

The Early Bird drawings will be held October 14, 21, 28, and November 4 and 11.  If a player buys a ticket before an Early Bird drawing, their ticket will be eligible for that drawing, all subsequent Early Bird drawings, and the $1 million grand prize or other prizes on December 31, 2012.  It is possible for the same ticket to win in all five Early Bird drawings and the $1 million grand prize drawing.  Tickets sold after the final Early Bird drawings will only be eligible for raffle prizes drawn December 31, 2012.

Holiday Millionaire Raffle tickets are Quick Pick only.  Each ticket will have a unique 6-digit raffle number.  Tickets will print in numeric order throughout the state beginning with raffle number 000001.  When the last raffle number, 150000, is issued, sales will end and no additional tickets will be available for purchase.  Players don't wait to purchase your tickets.  Once they're gone, they're gone

On December 31, 2012, the Lottery will draw the winning numbers for the grand prize and other cash prizes.  In recognition of the Lottery's 25th Anniversary, players will notice a "25" prize theme.  In addition to the $1 million grand prize, 25 players will each win $5,000, 25 players will each win $1,000, and 2,500 players will each win $100.  Prizes for the Holiday Millionaire Raffle will total $1.5 million.  Winners have 365 days from the date of the drawings to claim a prize.  The $100 prizes can be claimed at most Kansas Lottery retail locations.  Larger prizes must be claimed at a Kansas Lottery office.
