Big Jackpots for this Week's Drawings - Powerball Climbs to $350 Million!

The Kansas Lottery jackpots are climbing for this week's drawings and players are hoping to get lucky!

After Saturday night's Powerball drawing, the jackpot has climbed to an estimated $350 million, with a cash option of $222.8 million for the May 15 drawing.  The Powerball jackpot has been on a roll since March 30, 2013, after the jackpot was hit in Illinois for $50 million.  The most recent Powerball jackpot winner in Kansas was a Johnson County couple, who claimed a jackpot worth $50 million from the December 19, 2012, drawing.  Kansas has had 11 Powerball jackpot winners and eight Lotto America jackpots.  The largest Powerball jackpot winner in Kansas was Donald Damon of Great Bend, who won $96 million in November 2009.

Players will also be trying to win a large Hot Lotto jackpot for Wednesday night's drawing.  The estimated Hot Lotto jackpot is $6.16 million.  Hot Lotto and Powerball are played every Wednesday and Saturday.

The Mega Millions jackpot is also on the rise.  The estimated Mega Millions jackpot for tomorrow night's drawing is an estimated $170 million, with a cash option of $126.7 million.  Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday.

A lucky player could win an estimated $140,000 in tonight's Super Kansas Cash drawing.  Super Kansas Cash is a Kansas-only game and jackpots are paid in one lump sum.  Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

Players have until 8:59 p.m. on draw nights to purchase tickets.  As always, the Kansas Lottery encourages its players to play responsibly.
