Three Lucky Players Each Win 2012 MLB All-Star Game Prize
Packages
Three lucky Kansas Lottery players have each won a prize package
fit for an "all-star" in the 2012 MLB® All-Star Game® second-chance
drawing held today at Lottery headquarters in Topeka.
The grand prize winner is Elizabeth Decoursey of Overland Park.
Decoursey and one guest will receive tickets to the MLB® Taco Bell®
All-Star Sunday™ game, Gatorade™ All-Star Workout Day™ featuring
the State Farm™ Home Run Derby®, and the MLB® All-Star Game® in
July. The prize package also includes one-double occupancy
hotel room, $1,000 cash, a 2012 MLB® All-Star Game® gift bag, and
all mandatory state and federal income withholding taxes. The
grand prize is valued at approximately $7,400.
Mike Steinert of Hoisington and Dixie Labrue of Goddard each won
secondary prizes in the drawing. Steinert and Labrue, along with
their guest, will each receive tickets to the 2012 MLB® All-Star
Game® in July, one double-occupancy hotel room, $300 cash, a 2012
MLB® All-Star Game® gift bag, and all mandatory state and federal
withholding taxes. The two secondary prizes are each valued
at approximately $3,000.
Players who mailed non-winning $2 MLB® All-Star Game® tickets
became eligible for the second-chance drawing. There were
approximately 24,000 entries in today's drawing.
