Powerball Ticket worth $1 Million sold in Southwest Kansas!

Kansas Lottery players are encouraged to check their Powerball tickets from last night's drawing.  A lucky Powerball ticket sold in southwest Kansas is worth $1 million!  The ticket matched the first five Powerball numbers, but not the Powerball.  The winning numbers in the October 16 drawing are:  03-26-28-34-42 Powerball 28.

The southwest region of Kansas includes the following counties:  Greeley, Wichita, Scott, Lane, Ness, Rush, Hamilton, Kearny, Finney, Hodgeman, Pawnee, Stanton, Grant, Haskell, Gray, Ford, Edwards, Kiowa, Morton, Stevens, Seward, Meade, Clark and Comanche. 

This is the second $1 million Powerball ticket sold in southwest Kansas this year.  A $1 million Powerball ticket sold in the January 26, 2013, drawing remains unclaimed.  The winning numbers for the January 26 drawing were:  03-22-26-41-49 Powerball 18.  The lucky ticket holder has until January 27, 2014, to claim the prize before it expires. 

No ticket matched all numbers in Powerball, Hot Lotto or Super Kansas Cash in Wednesday night's drawings.  The Powerball jackpot increased to an estimated $186 million, with a cash option of $106.3 million for Saturday's drawing.  The Hot Lotto jackpot is an estimated $1.05 million for Saturday's drawing and Super Kansas Cash jackpot is an estimated $1.475 million for Saturday's drawing.
