Lucky Kansas Lottery Players Win Big Prizes in Last Night's Drawings; $1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold in Northeast Kansas!

Although the $337 million Powerball jackpot was hit in Michigan last night, a lucky Kansas Lottery player is holding a Powerball ticket worth $1 million!  One ticket purchased in northeast Kansas matched the first five numbers, winning the $1 million Match 5 prize!  The winning numbers in last night's Powerball drawing were 06-27-46-51-56 Powerball 21.

The northeast region of Kansas includes the following counties:  Marshall, Nemaha, Brown, Doniphan, Riley,Pottawatomie, Jackson, Atchison, Geary, Wabaunsee, Shawnee, Jefferson,Leavenworth, Wyandotte, Johnson, Osage, Douglas, Franklin, Miami, Morris and the northern half of Lyon.  The Powerball jackpot returns to $40 million with a cash option of $26.7 million for the Saturday,August 18 drawing.

In addition to the $1 million Powerball winning ticket, another lucky Kansas Lottery player is holding a Hot Lotto ticket worth $10,000 from last night's drawing.  One ticket sold in south central Kansas matched the first five Hot Lotto numbers, winning the $10,000 cash prize.  The winning Hot Lotto numbers were 05-10-12-23-24 Hot Ball 07. 

The south central region of Kansas includes the following counties:  Barton, Rice, McPherson, Marion, Stafford,Reno, Harvey, Pratt, Kingman, Sedgwick, Butler, Barber, Harper, Sumner and Cowley.  Since no one matched all numbers in the Hot Lotto drawing, the jackpot climbed to $1.25 million with a cash option if $970,000 for Saturday night's drawing.

No one matched all numbers in the Super Kansas Cash jackpot in last night's drawing.  However, two tickets matched the first five Super Kansas Cash numbers, each winning $2,000!  One ticket was sold in northeast Kansas and one in south central Kansas.  The winning Super Kansas Cash numbers were 08-09-10-11-29 Cash Ball 06.  The Super Kansas Cash jackpot climbed to $1,085,000 for Saturday night's drawing. Super Kansas Cash is a Kansas-only game with jackpots paid in one lump.
