$1 Million Dollar Powerball Ticket sold in Northwest Kansas!
Third Kansas Millionaire in Three Weeks
It was a big night for Kansas Powerball players! One ticket sold
in northwest Kansas is
worth $1,000,000 after matching the first five numbers, but not the
Powerball, in last night's drawing. Two other tickets, both sold in
matched four of the first five numbers and the Powerball, to be
worth $10,000 each.
Counting all wins, from matching just the Powerball, to matching
the first five numbers, Kansas has more than 31,000 winners in the
August 7 drawing. All players should carefully check their tickets.
The winning numbers are: 5-25-30-58-59 Powerball 32.
The $1,000,000 Powerball win is the third in Kansas in the past
few weeks. On July 20, Nelson Worley of Osawatomie matched the
first five numbers in Powerball to win $1,000,000. A week later, on
July 27, an Overland Park resident also matched the first five
numbers to win $1,000,000.
Three Powerball tickets, two sold in New Jersey and one in
Minnesota, matched all numbers last night to split a $448.4 million
jackpot. The cash option is $258.16 million. The Powerball jackpot
returns to $40 million for Saturday's drawing.
