Hiring Rate: Hourly $21.13, Annual $43,950.40
DESCRIPTION:
This position is open until filled. Applications, resumes

Dodge City, Kansas, Boot Hill Casino and Resort. This position
is responsible for the auditing and oversight of gaming facility
operations that relate primarily to the certification of
transferred revenues and compliance with the negotiated contract
between the Lottery and the gaming facility as specified by the
Kansas Expanded Lottery Act. Incumbent performs highly specialized
work analyzing, auditing, and/or investigating gaming facility
financial transactions and related activities. Employee reviews and
analyzes gaming facility activities to ensure accurate financial
transfers and compliance with the KELA and related
gaming facility contracts. Serves as onsite Lottery representative,
first point of contact, and lottery liaison. Investigates and
analyzes inconsistencies and potential KELA
violations.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Must pass extensive background and subject to periodic updates
throughout employment.
- Subject to tax clearance upon hire and periodic updates

- Employees of the Kansas Lottery and designated family and
household members are subject to the provisions of the Kansas
Lottery Act, K.S.A. 74-8701 et seq, and the Kansas Expanded Lottery
Act, K.S.A. 74-8733 et seq.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and work authorized.
- Professional attire/dress.
- Employee is assigned to social entertainment and gambling
environment where large sums of money are exchanged.
- Exposed to tobacco, smoke, liquor consumption, gambling, casino
noise level, patrons with varying temperaments.
- Must complete Form I-9 upon hire and update and/or re-verify as
required.
- Valid current Kansas Driver's license at time of hire and
throughout employment
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a
rotating schedule.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Four years relevant work experience and/or education training or
combination of experience, education, or training may be
substituted for degree.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree preferred. Coursework or training in computer
security, electronics, computerized accounting and auditing,
investigations, and/or forensic auditing preferred. Three years
experience in computerized accounting, auditing, advanced computer
skills, or business financial management preferred. Experience with
electronic gaming devices and/or auditing in a casino environment
preferred. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally
and in writing in English. Demonstrated work experience performing
duties assigned to position preferred.
