When Crystal Wittiker, 22, of Kansas City, Kan., scratched off a big winner last weekend, she knew just what to do with it. “I gave it to my dad and let him hold onto it. After all, I know where he lives,” she said with a smile. Wittiker, who enjoys playing Crossword and Bingo instant tickets because “they take awhile to scratch off,” got very lucky with one of three $2 Double Doubler Bingo tickets she purchased on Sunday.

New Game Wins Wamego Resident $10,000
On Tuesday Christeen Amsden, store manager of Gas 4 Less in Manhattan, opened a new pack of $2 Tough Truck instant scratch tickets to fill an empty slot in her store’s lottery dispenser. When she returned to work Wednesday morning, no one had tried the game, so she decided to try her luck and purchased five tickets. Much to her surprise, she won a $10,000 top prize on the last ticket she scratched.

Last night when calling the Kansas Lottery winning numbers hotline, Preston Pierce received a surprise worth $22,000. The Madison resident, who plays 2by2 every day, matched both red and both white numbers in Sunday’s drawing, winning a $22,000 top prize.
