Win one of two trips to Santa Fe, New Mexico to be given away in the drawing held September 13, 2008, at the Council Grove Race Village; the final stop of the race.

The Great Santa Fe Trail Horse Race is an 515 mile endurance ride completed over a 14 day period. It is open to all breeds, and is sanctioned by the American Endurance Ride Conference (AERC). The events will start in Wagon Mound, NM on August 31 2008 and end in Council Grove, Kan., on September 13, 2008.

The Race will include Race Villages/Ride Camps where teams will be able to stop overnight for the ride. They will cover 30 acres and include first aid, refreshment, entertainment and more. Entries must be received by the morning mail pick-up in Topeka, KS on September 9, 2008.
No later than 5:00 p.m. on September 9, 2008, players may also deposit entries for this drawing into any receptacle specifically designated by the Lottery for such purpose.
In addition players may deposit entries at the Kansas Lottery booth during operational hours of the lottery booth at the Council Grove Race Village through 6:00 p.m. on September 13, 2008.

September 13, 2008 at the Council Grove Race Village at approximately 7:00 p.m.
Two entries will be drawn

Grand Prize:

Two winners will each receive round trip airfare for two to Santa Fe, New Mexico, 4 days and 3 nights hotel accommodations (double occupancy).
$5,000 cash.
Mandatory federal and state income withholding taxes for each prize package.
Each prize is valued at approximately $10,000.

GENERAL RULES:

Each prize is subject to the “Official Rules” for this drawing.
One drawing will be conducted on September 13, 2008.
Players may enter the drawing as often as they wish but may only win one prize.
A claim form will be sent to each winner drawn.
The winners as a result of the drawing shall claim their prize within 30 calendar days following the date the ticket was drawn, or the person named on the entry will no longer be eligible. In such an event, the person named on the next eligible entry shall be declared the winner.
All trips must be completed within one year of claim.
Need not be present to win.
Odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received.
