Overland Park Resident Wins 2008 GMC E85 Truck in Lottery Drawing

GREAT BEND, KAN. – A Kansas Lottery player from Overland Park has won a 2008 GMC Sierra Crew Cab E85 Truck in a Lottery drawing held late this afternoon at the 3i Show in Great Bend.

Mary E. Geurin had her name drawn as the grand prize winner in the Lottery’s Sizzlin’ Sierra drawing. To become eligible for the drawing, players had to purchase $2 or more of Hot Lotto Sizzler on a single ticket.

The Sizzlin’ Sierra grand prize package includes: a 2008 3i Show Special Edition GMC Sierra Crew Cab Truck, payment of mandatory state and federal income withholding taxes, plus all applicable sales and initial property taxes, registration fees and license tag fees. The total value of the grand prize is approximately $70,000.

Geurin and her husband Lyle, who will celebrate their 34th wedding anniversary on Sunday, have two grown children.

This is the fifth year the Lottery has given away a GMC truck in connection with the 3i Show and the third year for an E85 vehicle. The 3i Show is one of the leading farm shows in North America.
