Second-Chance Drawing Offers Players a Chance to Win a “Tough Truck”

TOPEKA, KAN. – The Kansas Lottery will launch a new $2 Tough Truck game in which players can mail in non-winning tickets for a chance to win a 2009 Ford F-150 E85 truck at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson. Players also have the chance to win up to $10,000 instantly! The Lottery will begin shipping the new $2 Tough Truck instant scratch tickets to its retailers this week.

Mailed entries must be received by the morning mail pickup in Topeka, Kan. on September 9, 2008. Entries may also be deposited at drop boxes located at the Kansas Lottery offices in Topeka, Kan. and Great Bend, Kan. until 5:00 p.m. on Sept. 9, 2008. In addition, players may deposit entries at the Kansas Lottery building at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson, Kan. from September 5, through 6:00 p.m. September 14. The drawing will be held at the Fair the evening of Sept. 14.

In addition to the 2009 Ford F-150 E85 truck, the grand prize includes mandatory state and federal income withholding taxes, plus other applicable initial taxes and fees for the vehicle.
