Kansas City, Mo. Resident Wins $6,000 Playing Kansas Game
TOPEKA, KAN. – Andrea Miller of Kansas City, Mo. did not have on a “Poker Face” yesterday when she arrived at Lottery headquarters. Instead she was all smiles when claiming a $6,000 top prize playing a $1 Poker Face instant scratch ticket.
“My fiancée Aaron actually bought the tickets,” said Miller. “He bought five tickets, giving me two to scratch. The second ticket I played was the $6,000 winner. Neither one of us could believe it.”
According to Miller, she and her fiancée play lottery games every day, and especially enjoy playing the $1 Poker Face instant scratch ticket.
“We got hooked when we won $600 a few months ago,” said Miller. “It’s been the luckiest game we’ve played yet.”
Miller said she plans to pay bills with her prize money.
The winning ticket was purchased at Stop-N-Go 5, located at 954 State Ave. in Kansas City.
