Kansas Lottery Announces Attorney Changes

TOPEKA, KAN. – The Kansas Lottery announces the promotion of Keith Kocher to the newly created position of Director of Gaming Facilities. In his new position, Kocher will be assigned full-time to expanded gaming issues. Kocher has served as the Assistant Attorney General assigned to the Kansas Lottery for the past eight years. Kocher graduated from Washburn Law School and attended Wichita State University for his undergraduate degree. Kocher and his wife Cyd live in Topeka and have two children and one grandchild.

Replacing Kocher as the Assistant Attorney General to the Kansas Lottery is Stephen Durrell. Durrell has been an Assistant Attorney General assigned to the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission for the past four years. Durrell is a graduate of Washburn Law School and received his undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas.

The changes will be effective November 5.
