Deadline for SE Gaming Zone Applications Extended to Oct. 21

TOPEKA, KAN. – The Lottery received no new applications for the Southeast Gaming Zone by the deadline of 2 p.m. on July 15, 2010.  Therefore, the deadline for the filing of Lottery Gaming Facility manager applications in the Southeast Gaming Zone has been extended to 2 p.m. on October 21, 2010. In the event no applications are received by October 21, the deadline will be extended to January 20, 2011.

The Southeast Gaming Zone includes Crawford and Cherokee counties. The Kansas Lottery Commission approved the extensions at its regular monthly meeting July 14 in Topeka.
