Lottery Commission Approves Re-opening of Bids in
South Central Gaming Zone

TOPEKA, KAN. – At its regular monthly meeting today in Topeka, the Kansas Lottery Commission approved the re-opening of bids in the South Central Gaming Zone. The new deadline for applications to become a Lottery Gaming Facility Manager in the South Central Gaming Zone will be July 22, 2010, at 2 p.m.

The Lottery intends to post the Revised Application and Review Procedures for the South Central Gaming Zone, along with the Revised Application for Lottery Gaming Facility Manager, on the Kansas Lottery website on April 28, 2010.

The Lottery Commission is re-opening bids following the withdrawal of Chisholm Creek Casino Resort from consideration for a gaming license in the South Central Gaming Zone earlier this month.

The next regular meeting of the Kansas Lottery Commission is a teleconference meeting scheduled for May 19, 2010, at 11:15 a.m. in the Kansas Lottery Headquarters and Claims Building, located at 108 N. Kansas Ave., in Topeka, Kan
